Accessibility
Last updated 24 June 2026 · Version 0.1 (draft)
Draft for review. Update the "known gaps" after a formal audit (axe-core / manual screen-reader pass).
Our commitment
We want PatchProof to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA.
What we already do
- A "skip to main content" link and keyboard-navigable controls.
- Semantic headings and labelled form fields.
- A light and dark theme with attention to colour contrast.
- Text that scales with browser zoom.
Known gaps
- A full screen-reader audit of every flow is still to be completed.
- Some complex tables and the photo-annotation tool need further keyboard and ARIA work.
- Automated accessibility testing in our build pipeline is planned (see the go-live hardening phase).
Feedback
If you hit an accessibility barrier, please tell us at [access@patchproof.co.uk] and we will prioritise a fix. We welcome suggestions.
